Deposits for larger treatment plans

For higher-value, multi-stage treatments (such as extensive prosthetic work, implant-based restorations or long-term orthodontic treatment) a deposit may be required as part of the treatment plan.

The deposit:

covers laboratory and material costs, and
secures the longer clinical time slots reserved specifically for you.

The exact amount, payment schedule and settlement of the deposit are always defined in your treatment plan and in our General Terms and Conditions, which are available in full on our website.



Guarantees for prosthetics and treatments

We offer guarantees on our prosthetic work and on certain treatments. The:

duration of the guarantee,
exact conditions (for example regular check-ups, compliance with recommended hygiene visits, loading instructions, etc.),
and the way potential warranty cases are handled

are defined in the GTC and in the specific warranty documentation for the given type of work.

The purpose of our guarantee policy is to ensure that:

you feel secure in the long term, while
clearly defining the shared responsibility required for longevity (high-quality clinical work on our side and appropriate care and cooperation on yours).

Data protection and legal security

We process your personal and medical data in full compliance with current data-protection and healthcare legislation.

The details of our data processing practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is publicly available on our website.
The electronic health-record system and electronic signatures used in our clinic are legally binding and equivalent to paper-based documentation.

This ensures that:

your treatments can be fully traced,
all necessary documents are retrievable,

Cancellation policy: clear and straightforward

DENTYS Dental Clinic informs you that appointments booked for treatment can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment time.

If:

the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours, or
the patient does not attend, or
due to a delay exceeding 20 minutes the planned treatment can no longer be carried out in the allocated time,

and the hindrance is not officially certified, the clinic will charge a HUF 15,000 chair-time fee.

The purpose of this fee is to protect our reserved clinical time and to ensure that as many patients as possible – especially those in need of urgent care – can receive treatment in a timely manner.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a photo ID, your Hungarian social security (TAJ) card if applicable, a list of any regular medications you are taking, and any previous X-rays or CT scans you may have.

Is the first examination painful?

The first visit is primarily focused on examination and planning, and is usually not painful in itself.

In the presence of acute symptoms, our first priority is to relieve pain and inflammation, including treatment under local anaesthesia where necessary.

Are X-rays and CBCT scans safe?

All imaging is performed only when medically justified and with optimised radiation doses. Thanks to modern equipment, exposure is kept to the lowest reasonable level.
